Salvation Prayer

What Does God Want Me to Do To Receive Christ?
1.    Acknowledge-the fact that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for our sins, rose again and is alive today. (That's Belief).

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."

                                                                                                                                     Hebrews 11:6
(Read Acts 16:31, Mark 16:15 & 16, John 3:16, I John 1: 12&13)

2.    Admit-that God has not been first in your life and turn away from the sin that separates you from Him. (That's Repentance).

"Jesus said, I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
                                                                                                                                        Luke 13:3
(Read Romans 3:23, Acts 2:38, Acts 17:30, Romans 6:23)

3.    Agree-with God that you are a sinner and that Christ is the only one who can forgive us. (That's Confession).

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
                                                                                                                                        Romans 10:9-10
(Read Matthew 10:32, I John 1:9)

4.    Accept-the new birth by washing away our sins and coming into Christ in obedience to His commands. (That's Baptism).

"In baptism you were buried with Him and raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead."
                                                                                                                                        Colossians 2:12
(Read Acts 2;38, Matthew 28:19, Galatians 3:26 & 27, Romans 6:3 & 4, I Peter 3:21, II Corinthians 5:17, Colossians 2:12, Acts 22:16)

Read Luke 8:4-15 Jesus tells us how to have a fruitful life in Him!
